Pros: Tall cans of PBR & Dollar beer night on Monday. One of the few bars in Orange that have Karaoke.
Cons: No pitchers, Cash only.
The Bar: The bar is located on the corner of a strip mall on the edge of a neighborhood. The parking lot sign and main entrance sign both have an orange beacon light in case you drive right by. The parking lot is shared with a martial arts studio and there are a bunch of steroid driven dudes often hanging out outside. The bar itself is large, 2 pool tables and a stage, which now hosts karaoke. Plenty of seating here.
The Crowd: It really depends on the day. We hit this spot on a Saturday night, it was slammed, with all ages, from your 21yr old college kids to mid 40's on a date, to your grandparents, and again on a Monday night for dollar beer night, it was slammed again, but with a much younger crowd, more college kids then anyone else.
Service: Service was excellent, but they were also expecting us that night. Usually one bartender per night and a cook for the regular type bar food. We did not eat there, but were told by patrons that they have great food.
Prices: Prices are cheap. Tall cans of PBR run ya $4. Can't beat that anywhere.
A/V: Karaoke Wed-Sunday as well as a internet jukebox.
Restroom: Small, fairly clean though. 70s style orange wall paper and clean mirrors.
Bartender Chat: Andrea and Bridget were the bartenders for the 2 nights we were there, Both awesome. Very chatty and love taking pictures with the customers.
How far did $20 get us: 5 tall cans of PBR. Or 20 $1 beers on Mondays.
Closing statement: Overall good bar. Fun environment if you can bare the lousy drunk karaoke singers. Anyway... Dollar beer night, what a night. It had a completely different crowd then Saturday night and we actually saw quite a few familiar faces. Our bartender, Bridget, was absolutely beautiful and super cool to boot! The beer was flowing and the plastic cups were stacking. It was quite an adventure for sure. This bar is HIGHLY recommended by DiveBar Culture and we demand you spend your money there. Luckily, it doesn't require very much money to get very very drunk. But that's why we love dives, isn't it? As always, we like to mention that they carry tall cans of PBR. Alright, enough of us ranting, I know you're only here for the photos, so here you go. Check out their Facebook Page here Chaser's Lounge
We rate Chaser's a 5 out of 5.
First off, let us start by thanking our wonderful and beautiful bartender, Andrea, for her unbridled enthusiasm. That was Fan-freaking-tastic! We had an awesome time last night. Everyone was very receptive to us, and all were open to what we were doing. The PBR tall-boys were delicious and so was the Jameson. The bar was cozy, but big. The karaoke was awesome and the DJ was cool as shit. Drink prices were more than fair, and even though it was cash only, we still managed to get drunk enough to enjoy Jack-in-the-box tacos. Seriously, have you ever looked at those things sober? They're awful. Also, the new camera Dave bought is awesome. Certainly made us feel like rock stars.
