  • Good for groups: No
  • Music: Internet Jukebox
  • Best Nights: Fri, Sat
  • TV': 4
  • Smoking: Outside/No Drinks
  • Alcohol: Beer & Wine

The Bar: Hours 11am -2am 7 days a week. Located in the corner of a strip mall next to Fuck-It Thai (Phuket). For whatever reason, the sign is not in front of the bar. Walking up to the place, it looks as if you are walking into a freezer or a meat locker as the owner referenced it. Once inside, you'll immediately notice the gorgeous bartenders. The bar is L-shaped seating about 10 people. There are 2 booths in the corner and some scattered tables. This is a new bar, open since August 2012. From what I heard, the previous bar in this location was a complete shit hole. The new owner Alex has really changed it. Very nice inside, very clean.
The Crowd: Men.... almost all men...1 female patron the entire night, everyone was chill though.
Service: This is a hard one to explain. I suppose if I was just a random it might take a minute, but when the staff knows who DBC is, let's just say lightening fast.
Prices: 5 beers on draft. $12 pitchers, $10 during Lakers games, and $5 Tall Cans of PBR.
Entertainment: Internet jukebox, which you can link to your phone and play music from your table, which is very entertaining when you choose a song like Barbie Girl while some macho dude is standing there choosing music. 2 incredibly nice pool tables ($1) with straight sticks. Heads-up poker game. Free pool on Tuesday. Free Wifi.
Restroom: Other than being a diamond plated death trap, it was pretty nice.
Bartender: The poison pushers for tonight were Britni & Britney.
Closing statement: Other than being a bit pricey for a dive, and not having liquor, it was a good time. The bartenders were hot and the patrons were cool. The owner Alex is awesome. If you are the hunt for a good bikini bar, Distractions Lounge is a good choice.

We rate Distractions Lounge a 3 out of 5.

Booties Sports Bar, Tustin CA

Booties Sports Bar

  • Parking: Public Lot
  • Good for groups: Yes
  • Music: Internet Jukebox
  • Best Nights: Fri, Sat
  • TV': 7
  • Smoking: Outside/No Drinks
  • Alcohol: Full Bar

The Bar: Located behind a restaurant, which makes it hard to see from the street. The name is Booties, which sounds like a strip club or bikini bar, it's not. Just a divey little joint that was previously called Newport Five. If you plan to drink heavily here, it is recommended to cab it home as it's located on a major street. If you leave your car here, make sure to get a NO TOW pass from the bartender. The bar itself it a pretty good size with 15 bar stools with some additional seating in the rear and 5 pool tables.
The Crowd: None...ha..  Tonight was dead. A few pool sharks around and that was about it. Normally on a Tuesday night they host pool tournaments. Tonight was not a normal night. It was recommended to return on a Friday, however I may return next Tuesday to capture the pool tournament.
Service: Excellent. Always is when Barbara is working.
Prices: Happy Hour 4pm-7pm(domestic beers only), $5.50 shots of Fireball. $5.00 PBR tall cans.
Entertainment: Internet Jukebox, 7 TV's, 5 pool tables ($1.00), 1 arcade game.
Restroom: Deceiving. Smells good, but looks like crap. Has the classic dive bar vending machine for all your sexual needs.
Bartender: Poison pusher this evening was Barbara. Come in and meet her when you get the chance. Super cute and super friendly.
Closing statement: Unfortunately it was empty which made taking pictures a pain, bu this was not my first time here, and definitely won't be my last. Next time I swing in I will grab some more pictures of the patrons and add them.  I absolutely recommend this place. Good prices, good people, great staff.

We rate Booties a 4 out of 5.

TJ's Cocktails, Placentia CA

TJ's Cocktails
1164 East Yorba Linda Blvd.
Placentia, CA
(714) 996-0929
  • Price Per Domestic Pitcher: $8.50
  • Credit/Debit: Yes
  • Parking: Public Lot
  • Good For Groups:  Yes
  • Music:  Internet Jukebox
  • Best Nights: Fri, Sat
  • Has TV: Yes
  • Smoking: Outside, No drinks
  • Alcohol: Full Bar
  • ATM: Yes
The Bar: Located in a strip mall next door to a massage parlor and a liquor store. Upon arrival you suddenly want a pencil and a pad, cause this place is sketchy. Upon entering the front door, the hallway is loaded with pictures of crazy nights of the past, including plenty of nudity. Once inside, there is a long L-shape bar seating about 20 people, some scattered tables, and a long bench seat on the west wall. In the rear of the bar there are two well maintained pool tables with straight sticks (which is uncommon for a dive).
The Crowd: Tonight's crowd was a flash back from the past. The reason this bar was chosen was a friend of mine was in town from Idaho and this was the local stomping ground. Just about everyone in the bar was an old friend. The rest of the patrons consisted of a couple of old men and a handful of college kids, and one crazy old dude with a neon blue star tattoo under his left eye, pretty sure he lost some sort of bet with that one.
Service: With one bartender on duty service was a bit slow, but drinks were heavy, so it made up for the wait.
Prices: $8.50 Domestic Pitchers, $6 Shots of Fireball, $3.50 Domestic Bottles. No PBR though. Entertainment: 2 pool tables, 6 TV's, Internet Jukebox, 2 arcade games.
Restroom: Fuckin gross. Stinks like piss. Someone reported that the toilet tank lid in the women's restroom is made from tin foil.
Closing statement: Before coming to this bar many people mentioned it was a crap. I disagree. I had a great time and could hardly walk after closing my $90 tab. I plan a return visit in the near future.
